Ibiza Summer is nearly here.

Due to taking a well earned break before the craziness of the Ibiza summer arrives we have been blogless for a while.

We are now back on the Island and At Your Service once again.

Cleaning, Property Management, Spanish Translations, you name it we do it.

What with Easter coming early this year the Ibiza Season is starting up and everyone is coming out of hibernation. Spring fever is overtaking the winter blues.

The Islands business owners are split on whether to open or not for easter. It´s a good few months until the busy season really happens and some have decided to recharge their batteries for a little while longer, while others have thrown open the doors and dusted off the tables ready to go.

This is a good time of year for us as with Spring fever comes spring cleaning. With many bar and property owners still waiting for their seasonal staff to arrive, At Your Service as been providing cleaning, gardening and errand services throughout the Island.

What we do.

The home concierge and errand running business is someting that has become very popular in England and the States due to the fact that people now lead such busy lives that they will happily pay someone do their grocery shopping, clean their house, maintain the garden or many of the other mundane but necessary tasks that we have to do.

Although most people in Ibiza lead a fairly stress free life there are other obstacles that they come across. For most people that have settled here from another country the main obstacle is the language barrier. I remember when I first arrived here ten years ago and didn´t speak Spanish, how frustating it was trying to communicate with trades men or trying to do the simplest things

A recent survey in Spain showed that a high percentage of locals are not sure exactly what they have to do get their passports or drivers licence renewed.

Now imagine how absolutely lost the foreign community is with all the Spanish red tape and paperwork.

I have found that one of the main things people ask me do is accompany them when they are applying for Residents permits or changing their car or help translating at the Notary if they are buying a property. Having someone who speaks Spanish definetly makes it stress free.

However translating is not all we do.

We can house sit while you are away.
Take your dog for a walk.
De-clutter your garage.
Help you get your business ready for the summer.
Weekly cleaning.
Grocery shopping.
Garden maintenance.
Pick up your dry cleaning.
Wait in for repair men.
Take you car to the ITV centre.

Basically if its legal we can do it.

At Your Service Ibiza

At you Service Ibiza is now up and running and I must say that the past month has been busy. I´ve already taken 5 cars for their annual vehicle inspection and am happy to say that all passed with flying colours.

The best bit was telling all the cars owners that they can now drive safely for another year but the worst bit was having to be there at six in the morning. However it did pay off as I was the first in the queue and was all done and dusted before nine. Unlike the 30 cars behind.

Although I do think the man at the Ibiza ITV centre must have thought I was pretty well off as he´s seen me 5 times in a few weeks and each time I have a different car.

I´ve also been doing some garden maintenance which was surprising therapautic as it was just a nice day. It was so nice do be out in the fresh air and enjoying the lovely Ibiza weather.

This morning I´ve also accompanied someone while they bought a new car and needed help with all the necessary paperwork. We were actually very lucky as everywhere we went there were surpisingly little people. This is probably due to the fact that January and February are when most people take their hols in Ibiza.

Easter is coming early this year so most Ibiza business owners are starting to think about getting their bars and restaurants open for the season. This week I have 2 big cleaning jobs in San Antonio helping the owners get ready.
